i've been processing the breakdown of how i'm investing my time and energy with the relationships in my life - jesus included! it's been heavy, especially since i'm fiercely loyal and committed to the friendships i carefully share my life with. so part one of this process; lovingly, invest conservatively into friendships that have a low return ratio; and aggressively in the ones that are consistent, steadfast and healthy -- for me.

a few days ago a dear friend and i shared a devotional reading after a long walk from the devotional book, jesus calling. then yesterday morning i opened their app on my iphone to these words i so deeply needed to hear.
